Pre-Funeral Consultation

Our hearts truly go out to you in your time of sorrow and if there’s one thing that we can do… it’s to capture the memories of the occasion, whether it’s the celebration of life, the final goodbye or the start of a new chapter in the circle of life.

There is a quote by an unknown person that says very profoundly…

“Although it’s difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow.”

We wholeheartedly support the sentiment behind this statement.  Looking at photographs allows us to access that place, that time, those feelings. You see things that were happening around you during those moments, filling gaps, or adding details to your memories.

Death happens daily, so why do we shroud it in mystery and keep it in the shadows?

We talk to you about the dearly departed, find out about how they lived their life.  What they meant to you and how you’re going to say goodbye to them.  We also chat about how much of the day you want us to capture and at which locations.

It can be prudent when announcing the funeral to your family and friends, to let them know that we will be there to capture the day.

The Funeral

Knowing what to say and what to do can help ease the stress during this period of mourning.

It is a very emotional time and we have to capture the day with compassion and sensitivity.

We are there to capture all the beauty and respect that is shown for the departed.

We are also there to capture the bonds between people as they share memories and comfort each other.

We are honoured and proud to have become part of the story, but we have to do this without creating a distraction or making ourselves the centre of attention.

An unknown person said, “When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure”.

Our gift of capturing these treasures will provide comfort to those left behind and a loving legacy for future generations.
